Krzysztof Kiwerski was born in 1948 in Poznan, where he finished High School of Fine Arts. He studied at the Faculty of Painting of the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow. He graduated with honours in 1973 in the studio of Prof. Marczynski. Since then he works at the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow, currently as a professor.

He works with painting and computer graphics. He also produced 31 animated films, including four full-length movies.
